Ways to Use Your Phone While You're Working Out

You may have noticed that the display console of your favorite exercise machine has some curious cords or ports that you have no idea what to do with – until now.

Many machines offer options for you to sync your mobile device with the machine while you’re exercising, which can take your phone beyond its typical duties of simply playing music.

So here are some amazing ways you can connect your phone whether at home with the new Platinum Club Series, a treadmill with a touch screen TV console, or at your favorite facility with the Elevation Series with Discover Tablet Consoles.

Use your Life Fitness 3rd party app. Plug in your Android or Apple mobile device and work out with a Life Fitness 3rd party app. Life Fitness products are compatible with So Fit (rewards-based app), Lose It! (nutrition focused app), Runtastic (tracking app) and LFconnect (tracking app.) When you plug your mobile device into your machine, it will act as secondary display.

Unprecedented access to online content like YouTube and Facebook. Check out the seamless connection to your favorite social media hangouts.

Control your Apple phone directly from the machine console. Plug in and get access to the media on your phone, i.e. music and videos, and use the console to control it directly.

You can also plug in your Android or Windows phone and get access to your media. We think it’s worth a mention that Life Fitness machines are the only ones with this Android compatibility. You can access personal content, navigate the web, create workout programs and set content preferences.

Get a battery boost. Plug in your phone and get an extra charge while working out....our product will charge it (or your tablet!) while you exercise.
